SERVE OUR CITY

At RCC, we’re creating tangible opportunities to display and declare the Gospel by serving alongside local organizations.

Below, you’ll find information about our community partners.

Young Life Baltimore City exists to introduce adolescents in Baltimore City to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith. Volunteers build meaningful relationships with middle school and high school students by showing up consistently – hanging out, attending weekly gatherings, and walking alongside students in everyday life.

The heart of Young Life is presence: being a trusted, caring adult who points young people to the hope of the gospel through friendship, fun, and intentional discipleship. For more information, visit their website or reach out to Jess Pariso.

YOUNG LIFE

Foster the Family serves foster, adoptive, and kinship families across Central Maryland with holistic care and support. Their mission is to ensure children are seen and families are equipped, encouraged, and sustained as they love those entrusted to their care. Through support groups, respite care, family events, and FosterCare packages for children entering new homes, Foster the Family provides practical help and lasting encouragement. In partnership with RCC, they also offer respite nights, support groups, and an on-site Pass Along Closet for families to shop. Learn more on their website or email Jillian Wilkerson

FOSTER THE FAMILY

World Relief Baltimore walks alongside refugees and immigrants as they rebuild their lives in Maryland. Through immigration legal services, workforce preparation, and holistic case management, they help newcomers find stability, healing, and opportunity. Rooted in the love of Christ, World Relief responds to crisis, restores dignity, and helps individuals and families not only survive, but truly thrive. With the partnership of supporters, they serve as the hands and feet of Jesus, bringing hope to some of our most vulnerable neighbors.

WORLD RELIEF

The UMD Food Pantry Partnership flows directly from our mission to display and declare the gospel by meeting tangible needs with the love and compassion of Christ. Families receiving care at the UMD clinic often face food insecurity while navigating overwhelming medical challenges. Through this partnership, Redemption City Church collects non-perishable, non-expired food donations each week, which are then prayerfully sorted, organized, and packed into grocery bags for families following clinic appointments. Each bag is designed to support approximately one week of meals and includes a gospel-centered encouragement card, helpful resources, and an invitation to Redemption City Church.

For more information about this ministry or how to get involved, please reach out to Rebecca Whitmire.

SAFE Families works to preserve family units by mobilizing the church and community to step in when needs arise instead of resorting to the foster care system. There are many different levels of involvement, including being a host family, family friend, family coach, and resource friend. We are excited to come together to love the children and families in our community in this way.

If you are interested in learning more about each of these specific roles, you can find more info on their website. If you have questions or want to get involved, please reach out to our SAFE Families ministry lead Tiana Melis, or email info@rccbaltimore.org.

The Salaam Center Baltimore serves refugees and other immigrants from the Middle East and helps them to adjust to life in America. We are excited to partner with The Salaam Center in teaching ESL classes, throwing parties, and welcoming our new neighbors to their new homes.

INDECCO APTS. BIBLE STUDY

The Indecco Apartments Senior Bible Study is one way Redemption City Church seeks to love our neighbors and share the hope of the gospel through presence and relationship. On the first and third Saturdays of each month at 10:00 am, we gather with senior residents at Indecco Apartments for a one-hour Bible study focused on Scripture, discussion, and connection. These mornings are a chance to encourage one another, build meaningful relationships, and walk alongside our senior saints.

As this ministry grows, we hope to form multiple teams that can each serve one Saturday every other month. For more information or to get involved, please reach out to Brandon Sams.

10:12 Sports (named after 2 Samuel 10:12) is on a mission to display and declare Jesus through sports mentoring (primarily football & basketball).

In these leagues, local men serve as coaches and mentors to groups of 10-15 teenagers. These men coach & model what it takes to win on the field, court, and, more importantly, in life. Walking beside teenagers as they experience the highs and lows of life, showing them the love of Christ through relationships, is what makes these mentoring relationships effective.

Visit 10:12's website to find out how you can get involved!
