Teach Us To Pray | Prayer Course for Men & Women
Do you long to experience God moving in powerful ways in your life and in the lives of those around you? Do you desire a deeper, more intimate connection with Him?
Prayer is an invitation to know God truly and to witness His work with awe and expectancy. Whether prayer feels familiar or brand new, this course is designed to meet you where you are. God is endlessly vast, yet wonderfully near. We never exhaust the wonder of who He is, and He delights in drawing close to His people.
This spring, we invite you to be part of something new. Join us for our first-ever joint Men’s and Women’s Prayer Course. Our heart is to unite the men and women of our church around prayer, learning together how to breathe in through prayer and exhale by displaying and declaring the gospel in Baltimore and beyond.
You might be wondering how this works as both a men’s and women’s ministry. We believe God is doing something unique in our church and our city through prayer, and that gathering together around prayer will lead to lasting spiritual fruit. Each session will include a shared large-group teaching with voices from both men and women, followed by smaller single-gender groups of five to seven people. These groups will provide space to process personally, pray for one another, and grow in community. Men’s groups will meet on the third floor and women’s groups on the second floor.
The class will meet biweekly for five weeks, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm, on the second floor. Dates are listed below. Participants are asked to purchase a journal and a copy of Praying Like Monks, Living Like Fools by Tyler Staton, and to read the Introduction and Chapter 1 before the first session. Please read through the syllabus here!
If you are hungry to grow in prayer, to be shaped by God’s presence, and to seek Him alongside your church family, this class is for you. Space is limited. Sign up today and come expectant for what the Lord will do!
Prayer & Worship Night
Prayer and Worship Night | Entering Lent Together
“Delight yourself in the LORD,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the LORD;
trust in him, and he will act.”
// Psalm 37:4–5 (ESV)
As we prepare our hearts for Easter, we step into the Lenten season by following the long-standing practice of God’s people who have set aside the 40 days before Easter to realign their desires toward Him. Lent invites us to slow down, to fast or abstain from something, and to intentionally turn our attention to the Lord, delighting in Him and committing our ways to Him.
This season is not about striving, but about surrender. As a church, we are asking God to shape our desires for His glory, His kingdom to come, and His will to be done. Through prayer, worship, and generosity, we seek to trust Him more deeply and to make space for Him to act in and through us.
Join us on Wednesday, February 18, from 7-9pm for a dedicated night of prayer and worship as we begin Lent together. Come to seek the face of God, to lift our voices in worship, and to commit our ways to the Lord as one church family!
We look forward to seeking the Lord together!

Managing God's Money | Finance Class
Over the course of four meetings, we will walk through Managing God’s Money by Randy Alcorn together. Each session will include an assigned reading to be completed beforehand, a thoughtful discussion, and a practical application. Alongside exploring what Scripture teaches about money, we will focus on tangible, everyday ways to live out faithful stewardship in light of God’s Word.
Money touches nearly every part of our lives. From paying rent and buying groceries to deciding how and when to spend, save, or give, our financial choices reflect what we believe. If God truly owns it all and we are stewards of what He has entrusted to us, then it is essential that we are grounded in Scripture and shaped by faithful obedience. This class is designed to help you think biblically, live intentionally, and steward wisely.
Cost: There is no upfront cost to attend. Each participant will need to purchase their own copy of Managing God’s Money prior to the first class.

Without Ceasing: A Ladies New Year's Prayer Launch and Brunch
Without Ceasing: A Ladies New Year’s Prayer Launch and Brunch
The new year is a time of inspiration. We make vision boards, create resolutions, and crave fresh starts. But how are you planning to grow spiritually in the year ahead?
Join us January 17 from 10am-12pm as we commit to grow in prayer – locking in with the Lord and listening for what He has for us this year. We’ll explore what it means to pray without ceasing – regardless of our season, circumstance, or level of motivation.
Start the year by focusing wholly on Jesus, commit with us to develop the discipline of prayer, and get inspired by a time of connection with your church family. Let’s seek the Lord together in prayer!
We will have a delicious brunch, worship, an engaging panel, and a short devotional as we look forward to the new year! You will be able to connect with other women and learn about additional ways to grow in prayer throughout the year!
1 Thessalonians 5:17 (ESV): “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
